The Doghouse Caxton was established in 2013 and since then we have gained a reputation for providing a friendly, reliable, flexible and professional service offering individualised care for dogs in the local area.  The dogs staying with us are treated as family pets and are cared for in our home.

We hold an Animal Welfare Licence (AWL0021) issued by South Cambridgeshire District Council (which is a legal requirement for boarding dogs) and have regular inspections to ensure a high standard of care is maintained at all times and as a result of this, we have been awarded a Five Star rating for excellence.  We have full Public Liability Insurance with £1 million cover and have been DBS checked.

About Me

Prior to starting my business,  I worked as a district nurse until I had my 2 children. I have owned dogs for most of my life and prior to completing my nurse training, worked as a kennel maid in Cheshire. I have now combined my love for dogs with the provision of a quality service in South Cambridgeshire.
